I am really ready to reach onto the next book to see what holds. Dec 14, Nicole added it. Originally posted The YA Bookworm i have seen a lot of reviews that this one is very twilight-ish, i didn’t believe it cause does the title Deadly Little Secret sound twilight in the making to you??? Crazy for Young A Stolarz definitely has a gift for story telling. Laurie Faria Stolarz tells a very mysterious and intriguing story- one of that will keep you on the edge of your seat until you know Camelia is safe again.
I have to say that the journal entries were one of the most intriguing parts of the story. So I absolutely love Laurie faria stolarz. Oct 15, Sydney Chan rated it really liked it Shelves: Summary – Camelia gets threatening letters and photos agai I really liked ilttle one better than the first.
There is no hashing out of their emotions except for them just saying they have to talk, but the book ends dedly we actually see them solve anything, like their lack of trust in one another. Other books in the series.
I think Ben and Camelia go and visit her. Ben is gifted with a supernatural power, psychometry, the power to ‘see’ things through touch or interaction with a person or object. It’s a stupidly quick read, tells a simple enough story and doesn’t delve deasly the teenage psyche much.
Do I recommend this book? Camelia stands up for herself and makes Ben deal with his decision – You don’t lityle to be with me then deal with it. I didn’t get too boring for me to not finish it but the best I can say is it’s mildly entertaining.
Touch Series by Laurie Faria Stolarz
Soon things start to turn interesting while Camelia works on her pottery and starts to hear voices and sees things.
What will she do now that she doesn’t have Ben to support her and sense when she’s in danger? It did have the same creepy feel to it, which I totally enjoyed. There wasn’t too much development with any of the characters, I take back what I said about this not being a series. For this book, i have five rules.
Deadly Little Lies (Touch, #2) by Laurie Faria Stolarz
I certainly knew that it would be someone who was close to Camelia, but I just could not figure out who it was that was stalking her. At the same time, Camelia begins to g 2. Deadly Little Lies is a story in a series, so I have high hopes that most of my worries are unwarranted. The story is similar except for the love triangle.
She made sense and I agred with her point of view most of the time. I love her friends. To complicate matters more there’s a new guy in town named Adam and he sets his eyes on Camelia, adding a nice little love triangle.
Deadly Little Secret
I thought some things were very similar to the first book, including some phrases and descriptions, but I loved it anyways and I loved the ending. Since this is my second time reading one of Stolarz’s books, I was pretty acquainted with her type of writing. Interspersed among the chapters are the internal thoughts of the stalker who has become obsessed with Camelia.
Nov 16, Sefret rated it really liked it Shelves: Anyway, this book was thrilling, stlarz not as spine-tingling as the first book. Mar 02, Literary Cravings rated it liked it. However, Stolarz didn’t do justice to her writing skills. The one thing I can say that was annoying about this book was that Camelia whines about Ben not wanting to be with her, and then insists on not trusting him one bit.
Which in a way is a heartbreak to Camelia’s father, who really liked Adam.
Camelia’s new stalker makes her move after her parents leaves to Detroit to talk with ‘crazy’ Aunt Alexia and her psychitrist. I have a feeling that, even with how this deaely ended, Ben and Camelia aren’t headed for a happily ever after. Thanks for telling us about the problem. At first, he acts like he can barely sit next to her. It would appear that someone is stalking her, but is it Ben or someone else entirely? It nearly drove me insane.
The first 50 pages were like a stupid disney sitcom and I was cringing the whole time.
Jan 15, Eugenia rated it did not like it Shelves: And it strayed a lot more from the whole Twilight feel. He wanted space, so Camelia decides to finally give up and move on. She begins sculpting a figure skater, only to receive frightening premonitions that someone’s in danger.
